Rage Comic: Douchebag!

Rarely do I wake up in the morning and think,
"Man, I sure would love to surround myself with some douchebags today!"

My current temping squeeze sits right beside a shopping mall. Due to the nature of my location, I generally go to said mall and walk around during my lunch break. It can be interesting and it's better than sleeping in my car for an hour (which I have done on numerous occasions.)

As I made my way through a department store, I couldn't help but overhear a conversation between two young people who appeared to be en route to a lunch date. Oh wait! My bad; it was NOT a conversation. It was a dictatorship. I made a rage comic to illustrate what happened.

Really? Really, dude?

Have any of you ever had to deal with people who always steamroll the conversation?

  2. I happen to have a conversation with a girl yesterday (well when I say conversation, I spoke and she hung onto my every word....Kidding).

She was talking about her Boyfriend of 3 months
He is into body building and so dictated that they only ever eat rice and chicken
They spend all weekend at the Gym (although she is not a big fan)

She is training to be a pilot (good for her I say) but he does not like it and wants her to give it up so they can spend more time together. Nice that he is so supportive of her life choices. But she told me that he treats her like a princes and makes her happy....

Sorry ladies but any of you who allow someone to control your life like that get exactly what you deserve - Douche bag men or women (after all this is an equal opportunities comment, so the opening of this sentence should be sorry ladies/gents).

A healthy relationship is a partnership which can include debate but should always include respect for each other....

  4. I really can't stand people like this.

A guy at work is a major douchebag, we actually just refer to him as 'The Douche'. We've worked with him for two years now and I honestly don't think he even knows simple things like the names of the other colleagues wives/husbands, or what some of our hobbies are.

And he manages to spin every single conversation to be about him... most people just avoid talking to him now.

  5. I don't recommend bartending as a career. I see these people daily. And try to make them feel warm, fuzzy, and special so they'll leave me dollars. Derp.

  6. yeah, that was certainly douchie...if this isn't an exaggeration then I'm surprised if she wasn't payed to spend time with him. Nobody like that has friends.

  7. I have a wonderful coworker who annoys the piss out of me by doing exactly this. Never have I met someone so oblivious to others and so in love with the sound of their own voice. GRrrr
